Ground & Water improves its image and environment to deliver results

Hampshire-based Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental engineering consultancy, Ground & Water, launches a new website. The move reflects a new vision and strategic approach, which meets growing customer requirements and business needs.

Rapid growth, an evolving market, client feedback and its vision to be the Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental engineering consultancy of choice, for small to medium sized builders, developers, structural engineers and architects, in London and the South of England; are driving the biggest changes to Ground & Water’s business in its 8-year history.

Outlining Ground & Water’s new approach, founding director, and chartered geologist and environmentalist, Fran Williams, said: “I started Ground & Water, with my co-director, Dipalee Jukes in 2009. The business grew quickly. We have always had an open and honest approach and we probably allowed our increasing workload and dedication to meeting deadlines to overtake our internal processes, branding, messaging. Following a review of the business at the end of 2016 we realised we needed to adopt a new approach to realise our ambitions and to meet client and staff expectations.”

Dipalee Jukes added: “We have a great story to tell. The way we communicate our business, its capabilities and service provision is high on our priority list and today we have launched a new website. www.groundandwater.co.uk is a fresh modern, mobile-responsive website, with increased levels of user interactivity. We have placed a greater importance on developing our growing team and focusing on our core values. These are the glue that bind our business together.”

Fran continued: “We are very proud of our achievements to date, but understand that making the difference that will allow us to grow further requires us to find the right balance between cost and delivering high-quality services, on time every time. While we aim to broaden our customer base, we will continue to support the local clients who have been loyal to us and we will continue to strive to deliver the outcomes they need. But our message to prospective clients is Ground & Water can offer a quality alternative to their current providers, especially where projects are on our patch. We have placed a greater focus on our specialist services and we would welcome the opportunity to meet and discuss how we can deliver this.”

Dipalee concluded: “We have also made significant changes internally to attract the talent and expertise we need to take the business forward and have introduced a 2-year graduate development programme. This is a very exciting phase in our development and we would like to thank all our existing clients and look forward to working with many new ones in the future.”
